Donations Accepted

The Friends of the Lacey Library accepts both cash and book donations. Cash donations (please send checks if mailing) may be sent to:

Book donations may be dropped off at the Lacey Library, please review the guidelines below. All donations, gifts, and memorials are tax deductible.
Book Donation Guidelines

We welcome the donation of:

* Hardcover books
* Paperback books
* CDs
* Cassettes
* Videos/DVDs

We are unable to accept:

* Magazines (they can be put in the hallway magazine exchange rack)
* Materials in moldy or mildewed condition (you can tell if they smell), also items that are dirty, etc.
* Textbooks
* Records
* Encyclopedias older than 10 years
* Out-of-date computer books

Some donated materials may be given to the library to be added to the collection; others may be added to the Friends of the Lacey Library Book Sale.
